ok, this is an early take of another of my films but with poor sound quality. Still makes me laugh though so thought I'd add it to lovely YouTube. Those naughty hysterical nimbys make up all those problems about wind power.

That they kill a lot of birds is a common misconception. The RSPB for example, support wind power because they know that climate change is a greater threat to birds than wind farms.

@VyseAcher "The windmills kill birds" argument has been debunked for the most part. Windmills only make up a tiny fraction of bird fatalities. Global warming and other environmental hazards would cause a lot more deaths of birds in the long run, and probably even the short run too. Care about birds do you? Well stop driving your car because cars kill more birds than wind turbines.

While you're at it, stop eating poultry! I have :)

I agree on your message: NIMBY'ism is bad. As nuclear friend I run into it alot as well... and it's just as silly there, if not worse. People are expecting that just because things are nuclear, they can break the laws of physics. And don't even get me started on the electromagnetic hypersensitivity nutters... gah.

NIMBY's deserves a good humiliating spankin'.
