This version is sleepier and more soothing than Elvis' version. Elvis' version is just PLAIN SMOKIN HOT --- so hot you can cook a steak on the record!

I'm not a huge Elvis fan except for his early stuff...and I admit that I don't know when he did this song...but his version is MUCH better! I'm saying that and I like Ricky more than him!

This song is about the desperation of man frantic to reach his woman, does Rick sound desperate? Hardly. It's a malt-shop version of Elvis' great song, and I am a big Ricky fan.
