Riding horses is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I don't know where I would be without it. Some people say they "like" riding, some people say they "love" riding. But with me, riding is my LIFE. It's my angel of mercy. Whenever I have a lot of things going on in my life, grades, drama, etc., I ride and forget all about it. I can honestly say that all the thoughts about "how am I gonna do on this test" or "oh no this person or that person is mad at me" or any other bad thoughts leave my mind as soon as I get on the back of a horse. When I ride, it's just me and the horse, and nothing else matters. It's the only thing that does that for me. When I'm editing, sure I enjoy it, I love it, but, it doesn't do what riding does for me. Or when I'm singing, yeah, I love that too, but not like riding. Sometimes I wish I could never get off. Just sit on the back of that horse forever. But then, I remember the real world, and I remember that I have to get back to it. But every single time I ride, I get that moment of joy, of everything being absolutely perfect, and that happiness caries over into the real world, and makes me that much happier to be alive. And when I have great rides like this, and the one I had today, it's unbelievable. I haven't been riding JD much, or at all really, lately. But I've started riding him again, and I'm so happy that I have. I loved riding Cherokee, but, JD is my boy. Some people say "well why are you selling him then!?". JD may be my boy, but riding is my life. And in order to progress, I have to sell him. He deserves to be loved by another person who will love him so immensely now. I can't deprive him, or his future owner, of having that joy. In summary, riding makes me feel better. Riding is my resolution.
