that was the whole thing in the 1st place, if Bill Thomas COUlD HAVE BUILT MORE OF THEM THEM than they woulsd have dominated all the stuff in the 60,s and earl 70s, too,
I stilll like people like bill Thomas though, as they had the foresight to do things different than the crowd and most of the time did it well with really good ideas,
hats Off to you Bill,
we need more people like you in this world.I wish I could get a cheetah , i hope they will be building them again,

This actually wasn't a GM based car, it was made by a man named Bill Thomas. He had a little bit of money given to him by Chevy, but the design and building was basically done by him.
The problem was, it could never compete with the Cobras and other "normal" cars because the production numbers were to low, so it could never race along side them. It had to go up against prototype McLarens and such, but still managed to win races even though it was a "lower class."
Bad ass car all around.
