Dr. Sanjay Gupta profiles the OmniGuide BeamPath CO2 Laser-Fiber system at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital. Dr. Tom Ellis uses the BeamPath System to remove a previously inoperable brain tumor and save the life of a 19 year old patient.

  • Dr. Ellis performed my first brain surgery in 2003 to remove a tumor in the 3rd ventricle. The tumor returned in 2010 and he performed a 2nd surgery. I wouldn't feel comfortable with anyone else. He is an amazing surgeon and person!

  • Dr. Ellis performed two surgeries to remove a tumor for my husband a few months ago...he's a stellar surgeon and an even better person.
