I don't understand all this 'pedophile' talk. There's not a speck of conclusive evidence against him, none of the children have come out against him, and Soon-Yi was of age the entire time.

Regardless, the video is about his life as a filmmaker and his influence in the entertainment industry, not his private life. If you want to talk down about him using subjects you don't know the truth about, do it somewhere else. This is about his work, not some scandal that's been over nearly twenty years.

@clockwrkornge That's absurd. A filmmaker is someone who makes films and Woody Allen has a whole bunch. Whether you're arguing that his films don't count as "films" because they focus on comedy more than drama is simply ridiculous because film is not limited to genre. If you argue he doesn't manipulate the filmic aesthetics enough to the point he demonstrates he has mastered it, go watch Midnight in Paris or Annie Hall.

@esachazee They, Allen and Previn, say their relationship started when she was 20. That doesn't make him less of a creep. He started working with Mia Farrow in the early 80's at the time when soon yi would have been around 10 years old. He dated her mother therefore it can be concluded that he did watch her "grow up". He is a creep.

I do not look at his personal life, only the parts from which I think that inspired his movies. I look at Woody Allen as a cinematic artist. I do not care about his personal affairs, I care about his artistic products. He might be neurotic, but doesn't that make him so creative? I mean, isn't his chaotic way of thinking just fascinating and entertaining?
