If you hold a RFID smart card which is equipped with the EMV standard, you needn’t worry about this. Although the card number and expiry date are transmitted, issuers use DDA and iCVV to identify fraudulent use and will decline the card at the point of sale. For card not present transactions the CVV2 mandate is in place, this requires the cardholder to provide the rightmost three digits printed on the signature strip on the reverse of their Visa or MasterCard to complete the purchase.

Credit card companies should be sending us protective sleeves with our credit cards when they are issued.

You people are fucking retarded; simply disable paypass and all problems gone. Also this video is full of so much shit it's not even funny. Cloning cards? What is this, 2003? You cannot swipe-pay anymore because that's exactly why card chips were introduced and are mandatory for payments. The "intercept" also doesn't catch the name of the owner so paying online is impossible.

News companies will do anything for a couple of views.

in the Police Academy we learned about a device about the size of a pager that all I have to do is be with in 10ft of a card so I can walk do a sidewalk full of people and catch everyones data. If the EMV standard works then how to so many people get their data caught by criminal. the only safe way is not to use a wifi card and see you bank about a structured bank account

Well, that's real sweet of those machines being legal and to be produced, sold and purchased? I say let's go back to bartering and using cacao beans and chickens for currency...lol
