this video describes how the xfactor producer round work and how they are exploiting the public and ignoring their actual TALENT just for some shots of the crowd

wheres from the 10,000 per city they invite to audition they only let through around 40 people, and out of that 40 not all are talented, some are for tv eye candy, and to produce viewer tears.
basically eye candy and sob stories, they let through a small percentage of talent just for the sake of the Live shows. Sign the petition to change the audition process if you feel strongly about the message at hand

http://petitionspot.com/petitions/xfactoraudition

This petition is to address the exploitational methods in which the auditions for the TV series titled "The X-factor" are conducted, and to seek a change in said method.
The hopefuls usually ranging from 10,000 plus are invited to "audition" just to be given silly puppet like gestures to perform like media monkeys for camera purposes. The show which should be about "talent" is straying far from that as the talent is being widely rejected by the so called "Executive Producers" who just sit their judging you from the minute you walk in to their on stage cubicle , which is holsted up infront of the whole 10,000 spread arena to share the much unwanted humiliation you get from queing for hours, singing your heart out, and getting turned away, for people with a sob-story or clear lack of talent. The vocals that you hear pelt out from the behind the screens are sometimes so amazing, the crowds cheer, but then unfortunately have to begin Booing as the unqualified "Executive producers" turn them away.
I honestly fail to understand why people return and support a show that in no way honours talent but honours comedic performances when it claims to be a talent show.
These producers maybe let through 20 talented people out of all the 100,000 + that audition each year, just for the sake of the live shows.
Its discusting how this show toys with the emotions of real heartfelt singers, who undoubtably have talent, but get turned away as they are not what the producers want this season.
This sort of exploitation should not be allowed to continue as its damaging the self esteem of many talented people who come out to try and achieve a dream that is in within seconds made unreachable.
I say if you're going to do a talent show, do it properly, the auditions should be judged by professionals, who understand vocals and artist potential more so than comedic acts and rating scorers.
Simon if you read this, as it is your format, think about the amout of people you're disheartening who can sing but get turned down by your producers because they dont feel like letting them through.
Out of the 20 producers you have on stage, some who sit in two's , some who sit soley, they all are so biased and are no way able to perform an accurate evaluation of somebodies talent. Especially some of the faces they make at you, when they're clearly not impressed with your appearance, be it weight, ethnicity or your general look, all things that shouldnt determine whether you are "talented" or not.
Lets face it, this show was lucky to get Leona Lewis. She could have easily have had one of the ones the precious producers let her slip, if she unfortunately got sent to the booth fo the one who's wife left him this morning, or who wanted a lunch break. Its cruel and unfair treatment, and i believe it should be conducted properly.
Lastly making an audition "open" after pressuring so many people to apply hardly seems fair, considering people invested time and some big decision making into applying, thinking they've got a good chance, when you've then made it open for the whole county to come just for the sake of "silent Cheers".
A mess.
X-factor needs to re-evaluate its audition process and use a method thats more practical and less heartbreaking than the current one.
Thousands of people would rush to help your cameras out if you needed space fillers, but the current thousands where under the impression that you needed talent.

  • to those who failed in level 1,2, and 3 will not expect any call from the producers of the x factor philippines. also the waiting duration for the auditionees who have passed all 3 levels of screening of the producers round of audition to call them will be from 2 months after their audition or after all the producers round of audition cities from one season is finished

  • then in the level 3 screening of the producers round of audition, the auditionees will sing in front of 6 people consisting of 3 staffs and 3 executive producers with a vtr camera in front of you, you will also use a minus one cd and a microphone in level 3, once the auditionee passed level3, the auditionee will have to wait for a call from the producers

  • then after the level 1 screening of the producers round of audition, you'll be headed through the level 2 screening of the producers round of audition. In level 2 you will sing in a room in front of the x factor staff using minus one music cd and a microphone, once you passed level 2 screening of the producers round of audition, you will be headed through the level 3 screening of the producers round of audition

  • I don't know if the x factor uk and the x factor philippines has similar kind of producers round of audition, but here in the philippines, the producers round of audition in the philippine franchise of the x factor has three levels of screening, the level 1 screening consists of 40 black booths where the auditionee will sing as acapella in front of the staff of the x factor in a booth with no microphone or mic

  • Any audition you go to is just like that! they JUDGE it is there job to be able to sell YOU! that is how people in the music industry work, it is about stories, personality, and talent. Have none of you ever auditioned for anything. JUDGES are mean that is what they are supposed to do. Find the best person to fit the part. They know what sells and if you dont have it well SORRY you go home!

  • talent and a lil luck needed..How else they gona do it..The v good and the v ridiculous make it thru..Makes for good TV
