Gilligs are the absolute best buses on earth!!!! Orions are OK, but Bluebirds are the worst!!! Oh and to add...those Thomas lo floors are the pits to operate too!!
FLXIBLE was the best and safest equiptment, heavy and durable GILLIg is cheap and rattles shakes with every bump and pothole, our FLXIBLES retired in aug 2004, RIP

I loved our Flxibles - we had '82-'95's with 6V92s, 6L71's, M11's, and my rare favorites - the Cummins L10's. That was a fun bus to drive.

I didn't forget about them, but I was without wheels and thus was pretty much bound to Amtrak's Piedmont Line and 3 days on my trip there. I also had to pass on Kannapolis Transit as well.
