Great video--nice quality camera. It was great when it "hit" the clouds!

Very nice footage - Nice job tracking, and nice camera too! - I shot the same launch from a little farther north. It was awesome to see the last shuttle night-launch. Thanks for sharing this!

When the shuttle flies through the clouds is one of the most beautiful sights i've ever seen. I filmed the launch from Orlando but your view was much better. See you at the last launches guys!

Amazing video. I'm hoping to catch one of the final launches this year. Sadly, it won't be a night launch like this, but still looking very forward to it. Thanks for posting.

Great video, really nice job capturing the moment. I love when it ascends through the clouds. I'm hoping to finally make it down this year to see one of the remaining launches.. sadly no more night lauches.
wheres the sonic boom?

@BMWM3GTRLOVER I'm not sure how far away the shuttle would be when it breaks the sound barrier. I was 12 miles away and it might be a few times that when it breaks the sound barrier. I'm not sure if it can be heard in the video. Starting at 1:04 you hear the liftoff sounds reach where I was and around 1:26 for about 20 seconds you hear some louder sounds that seem to be from the launch itself still, so the shuttle may have been too far down range to hear the sonic boom from where I was.
