    Very expensive.

    I lucked out in rural Sweden in 2001.

    I found a ca 1820 cavalry saber stamped US/P Nathan Starr.

    I got it for around 50 bucks!

    (The leather scabbard was totaly fubarred though, sadly)

  • Ah, that is very true! But i lucked out at an antique store a while ago and i got a WWII M1 front seam helmet with chin strap for only $24.00! But ya i have seen lots of over priced Military antiques in antique malls and stores.
