A very moving account of the life - and drugs-related death at twenty-five - of the great blues/rock guitarist, Paul Kossoff.
Veteran British actor David Kossoff, father of Paul, gives this lecture - assisted by video footage, photographs, audio clips and by the presence of Paul's classical guitar teacher - to an audience of teenage school-children in 1992. David Kossoff toured Britain to give this lecture - a powerful and often harrowing warning against drug-abuse - at schools and Universities.

  • @rimmsey7 - I'm not sure I can agree 100%. For one thing, he's been dead six years.

  • I met this great man David Kossoff at my Dads old school telling stories to school kids (where he actually let me touch one of Paul's Gibson Les Pauls). The night before I attended his packed stage talk show about Paul at our towns main theater. He was sat in an easy chair on stage with Paul's guitars on stands and captivated the audience. Very moving and I am sure his talk put many off the idea of taking drugs. RIP Paul and David.

  • I was sent this link by my friend, Daniel Jones of the Hawai'ian band, 7th Order. I live in Perth, Western Australia and present a program on RTRFM92.1 called Woodstock Rock that regularly plays Yes. This doco is important in that it keeps important music alive and reminds us of how much we are robbed of as a civilization by drugs. Speak his name, continue to love his music and Paul will live on in spirit and in our hearts. shy swan. <3
