Will Thoren leads you through a step-by-step instruction on how to modify a wooden mouthpiece to enable the drop-octave technique.

*Important Note*
Please realize that modifying a wooden mouthpiece incorrectly can permanently alter a didgeridoo from the way it was originally designed to be played. Possibly practice creating a similiar mouthpiece on PVC first (which can be see in another WETDidgeridoo video). Also note that with this process of modifying a mouthpiece there is no "going back" to the EXACT state of the original if you decide you don't like the mouthpiece or you've damaged stick during the process. if your a didgeridoo crafter or wood worker you may be able to get close to its original state if going back is something you want to do. The pitch of the didge may slightly change when opening up a small mouthpiece.
