  • Jimmy was actually a derry man, from killywool greysteel. His farther was from donegal.

A good friend of myself, Jimmy was the best fiddle player of his time .three times all Ireland champion. No one could match him.

  • Jimmy was,a master of tone and speed control,He had a combination of both Donegal, and Co.Down fiddle and bow style, many a great night I had with him, God Bless you Jimmy.

  • anyone know what pub this is in? Love the old style Guinness taps....

  • Jimmy was a very unique talent. I knew him around Spring/Summer of '84, shortly before he died. I was gutted when I heard what happened. I feel honoured ever to have had the pleasure to listen to such a great musician...

    R.I.P Jimmy

  • Wonderful player.

  • I didn't think there were any quality vids of this wonderful and charismatic young Donegal man, unfortunately taken from us in a tragic road accident while in his youth and prime. He was ahead of his time!
