FFXIII CP Farming: 1,400,000 / Hour (Shao Rongui)

This is a really simple, really quick method for maxing out your characters after beating the final boss. No need to have powerful weapons or accessories - just a certain party and Optima setup. All you're gonna be doing is killing some baby turtles.

[Fang - Suds - Vanilla]

1. JAM - ENH - HLR
2. BLA - JAM - HLR
3. ATK - JAM - HLR
4. DEF - DEF - DEF

Start out with setup [1], casting Drowsy. Wait until Suds gets Haste going, then use Slow and let Auto do the rest. After all de/buffs are in place you can switch to [2]. Unload until he breaks, then switch to [3]. Squeeze in Highwind at the end for over 9000 damage. Now switch back to [2] and keep wailing.

If you see him casting Ultima, immediately switch to [4] or die. After a second, resume the ass whooping. He also uses Hoeru occasionally, which does major damage plus Drowsy. Just switch to [4] then go back to [1] after it wears off, then [2], etc.

@JohnnyLeyenda Well, I like to read the stories of the Cie'th stones. Not to mention that even if there were subs, sometimes they mess up the words. E.G In Anime: Bakamono = Monster, and Fool. It would be hard if you saw an Ochu and Lightning jumped in front of him, and Fang said, "Bakamono" to know if she was insulting Lightning/Claire or saying there was the monster (Ochu).

@Crockahh they give you that much when you have the growth egg and that one spot is the best farming spot 1 hour and you get like 980000even if you weak and use the death strategy

Ah seriously? I mean, are the subtitles gramatically correct and everything? The names of spells and stuff? because I might just do that for XIII-2

I don't get why people complain, the roles are pretty easy to guess (by the color above the health bars and skills they use) and the defuffs have the icons so you can also guess them.

Honestly, it's not that hard and it helps. Plus you get to hear the original VA.

Thanks so much! After I accidentally turned the turtles into Guis, I was about to abandon my progress and revert back to my previous save (6 hours lost...). Now I'm beating up on baby guis in under 4 mins. Great advice!
