Restoring a Yacht in Your Front Yard... Impossible?

I went against the odds twenty years ago with a 1929 sailing cutter. Eventually, I had replaced 90%, leaving only the stem, keel and transom. Some might think, to build from scratch would be easier, but I didn't know how. The original was my instructor. I just said to myself,"only think about one board at a time, or I may be intimidated."For two-half years, I lived in a dome tent, or one room shake, but the boat progressed almost every day.Materials were mostly from salvage and first rate too.

Man I have to comment. That is ridiculously awesome! I used to sail when I was a kid and lived in FL. Now I live in NC and have been dreaming big things like this for ten years. I wish good things to you sir, and hope to meet you somewhere in the Caribbean.
you are the man
