Sorry about totally skipping over the story I started in the beginning! Kyle reminds me in the end. This video is all about my feelings on my own gender/gender expression, how I identify, and how it fits into our relationship.
@lesandky ...role and he can be more submissive in the relationship (seen as a more feminine role) even though he identifies as male not female. I also would like to make it clear that a lesbian relationship and a relationship with an FTM male are NOT the same. There are also trans male relationships that exist where BOTH are MALE. What I'm trying to get at is that just because a female and male role isn't fulfilled in a relationship, it doesn't mean it won't work "better" than any other one. :]
@suisixify I may be misunderstanding what you're saying so correct me if I'm wrong. ... I definitely have friends who are in relationships (both female identified) who don't really fit the masculine/feminine roles. Is that what you mean by normal?? Kyle and I fit, but our personalities in some ways fit what society deems as a "normal" hetero couple, but other parts of our relationship are far far FAR from it. I have a much more dominating personality than him (which is seen as a more masculine..
@Greengiraffe10 YES! That's totally it! That's why I like to call myself girly or as Kyle puts it, "the epitome of feminine". Being around others in the queer community though who also don't judge you on your personal gender expression definitely helps as well. :]
Go Leslie and Kyle, love the dishevelled look! :D
I agree about the high femme term, feels wrong and I think it might be because it sounds falsely femine, like it's an act. No offense intended to anyone that identifies as that, I know it's not.
