the Piper Arrow at 1:05 did a pretty good job actually!! haha i was pretty amazed! as for that C210 that people are talking about, at 2:35 ... I'd just like to say he was really draggin it in lol... On windy days (at least gusty for sure) i usually bump up up my Vref up 5 kias just because one good gust can really knock you on your ass. Hope no one got in too much trouble that day (minus that ultralight and bonanza).. Good video! Cheers

I'll wait for a nice 5-10 kt. day, thank you.

they look exactly like my rc-plane on final :D

Next time it's blowing like this you just need to set up a little booth out there with your computer... you can sell people video of themselves like the pictures you get at Disneyland taking the drop on the log ride!

I remember this day haha, ultralight got owned...

Ya no kidding... There's some crazy pilots out there. I can't imagine going up in winds gusting to 41 kts.

I think almost all those planes were passing their max demonstrated x-wind component, haha.

yuk, a windy day?

I am a 310-N driver from KMYF. Full flaps on the twin Cessna 310 on a strong and gusty x-wind is not advisable. A no-flap hot landing is much easier to manage on a day like this. He did a nice grease job on touchdown. congrats!!

When i came back from my long x/c when i was training I landed on runway 7 with wind 040@19g29. I HATE runway 7! haha
Too much trees!!! There must be lots of turbulence!

You got that right. We only land that direction 5 or 10 days a year.

At 1:40 that Cessna 310 landing with what looks like full flaps... shouldn't he use no flaps?.. I've landed a Cessna 206 in a 35 knot crosswind with 0 flap.. worked ok.
