how do you use the healing tool on a laptop? It is not happening for me! grrrrr

hmmmm. My video was produced on a laptop. Just click on the heal tool. Check the options - mode should be normal. Opacity should be 100%, then control-click to pick a sample point. Then click and drag the mouse to heal.
