Moving Back Into Your Heart- Jonas Brothers Love Story Chapter 121

I am so tired today! I am so glad that it is Friday so that I can relax... I am thinking shopping tomorrow lol! :) Well, thanks for commenting and I hope you guys enjoy this chapter!

Nick: so did you girls have a fun day?
Addison: yeah, Kate looks perfect in her dress.
Nick: Kevin's tux was nice too.

Addisons phone rang and she answered it at the table. She would have gotten up, but the restaurant was crowded and she couldn't get out. It was Jack.

Jack: hey babe. How is your day going?
Addison: better now that I am talking to you. But it's been good, Kate found an amazing dress.
Jack: I miss my girl.
Addison: I miss you too, but it is so good to see my boys again.
Jack: your boys? (He teased) I thought that I was your boy...
Addison: ha-ha very funny Jack. You know that you are.
Jack: well I'll let you go. I'll call you later.

Addison hung up the phone and looked back towards Nick, who was taking a drink of his diet coke.

Nick: Jack?
Addison: yeah, he was just calling to check in.
Nick: you seem happy.
Addison: yeah... (She said distantly)

They all finished eating lunch and headed back out to the cars. They didn't have any other plans for the rest of the day, so they just went home and rested for the next day of wedding planning ahead of them.

*The next day*
When Addison woke up, Lola and Kate were nowhere to be found. She went to look for Kevin and Joe, and found out that they were gone too. She immediately dug out her phone and dialed Lola's number. Lola answered on the first ring.

Lola: hey Addie, I guess you're up.
Addison: yeah... so where are all of you guys? (She asked)
Lola: well you and Nick were asleep this morning and Kate and Kevin had an important appointment. So we decided to let you guys sleep in and go.
Addison: you guys should have woken me, I would have come.
Lola: I know, but you didn't have too. But will you and Nick meet us at the cake shop at around in around thirty minutes?
Addison: sounds good, I'll see you guys there.

Addison hung up the phone and went to see if Nick was awake. She opened the door to his room and saw that he was still asleep in his bed. Addison was hesitant about waking him up... but they were friends, right? She walked over to his bed and sat down on the edge. She examined his face and saw that he was the same Nick as she had known before. His face was definitely more mature, but he was still perfect. In fact, he was even more perfect than when he was sixteen.

Addison: Nick... (She gently shook his shoulder) Nick, get up.
Nick: huh? (He said groggily) What is it mom?
Addison: it's not mom. (She laughed)
Nick: wha- (he turned around and saw Addison and he smiled) hey, good morning.
Addison: morning.
Nick: so what brings you to my room?
Addison: the others left and they want us to meet them at the cake shop in half an hour.
Nick: ok, let me get ready. I'll meet you downstairs in fifteen minutes.
Addison: ok, see you then.

Addison went back to her room and then they both got ready to leave. Neither of them dressed up... well they kind of did but they didnt want it to be that obvious. Addison wore a light summer dress with strappy sandals and Nick decided on a white button down shirt with a pair of skinny jeans. When they were ready they headed downstairs and eventually got out the door. They both climbed into the car, with Nick driving.

Nick: so we're going to the cake shop?
Addison: yeah, I guess they are having a tasting to decide what kind of cake they want at the wedding.
Nick: well I vote that they get- (Addison cut him off)
Addison: chocolate cake with vanilla icing.

Nick chuckled and glanced at her for a second.

Nick: you know me well.
Addison: that I do Jonas... that I do.

They both laughed and soon they were at the cake shop. When they pulled in Addison decided to call Kate and see where they were. Kate answered the phone after a couple of rings.

Is it just me or did Nick seem a little jealous of Jack??? And then Nick and Addison were left behind... that was an interesting coincidence! But what is going to happen when they meet up with everyone else?
