he's a homicidal hero.

One of the most important lessons of John Brown is this: (perhaps always) in history, an entire population, an entire culture, an entire way of life can be dead wrong--and yet the masses are unaware of it. Injustice lives unquestioned and unchallenged. Even those who pride themselves on being righteous and progressive--the church, the educated elite, sit numb and dumb to their own guilt. Only a few persecuted heros fight the tyranical mainstream. As true today as ever. U call them "weirdos".
