I love your videos. I'm so glad you have one for sleep. It's been hard unwinding myself enough to fall asleep!

@clugalugs Your mind is not thinking, so you are resting your mind. Your body is not active, so it is resting also = the benefits of deep sleep. A true yogi never sleeps in the conventional sense, but is aware whilst resting the mind and body deeply.

@clugalugs and focus your attention on your natural breath, in and out of your nose, and also move your attention around your body, relaxing each part. Do not give any thought to sleep, dismiss thought and focus on the present (that is, the breath, and the sensations within your body. Your thoughts are concerned with future and past. Ignore that. Be with the present. Breath, and body).

@clugalugs People cannot get to sleep when thoughts are running through their mind constantly. When you practice yoga, your mind can become calm and at peace, enabling you to get deeper sleep and better rest. However, awareness and alertness increases by practicing yoga, and this can give the feeling that you are actually more awake. Continue the mental practise of yoga whilst in bed, i.e. allow your mind to stay gentle and quiet, do not be anxious that you are awake still,
