If she were white, there would be louder cries of outrage from everyone, not just the conservatives. Seriously, would anyone think Keith Olbermann would get away with this?

Gwen Ifill should have stepped down voluntarily. The fact that she hasn't, and that she seems to have no appreciation for the ethical considerations in play, puts her judgment into question even more.

I'm a Obama supporter, and I agree she should recuse herself from moderating the debate the appearance of impartiality is simply not there. I'm actually surprised she can't see this herself, I respect her (or used to).

Her book sounds wonderful. But Ifill has an obvious profit motive to favor Obama. Ifill has a conflict of interest. She should not moderate the debate -- this is corruption. Only a moron would trust her to be unbiased in the debate when she stands to lose a lot of money if McCain-Palin wins.
