METALLICA IN THE STUDIO WRITING FOLLOW UP TO ST. ANGER

Metallica are currently in the studio writing material for the bands follow up to St Anger. The recording process is completely different than the bands last recording, St Anger. Gone are the Physchiatrists and Doctors and it's just the four guys without distraction working on new material. Kirk Hammet stopped by the MAP Benefit Show honoring James Hetfield, and admitted the band is really hitting the song writing groove, even busting out two to three new songs per week. James Hetfield also stopped by to talk about working with the legendary Rick Rubin who the band choose to produce the album, which as of press time doesn't have a release date. Look for Metallica to finish up recording the album in 2006...

@Alhambrattp i think theres a song which is great: suicide&redemption. in that song, at 3.50, i always think metallica is the greatest band in the world. but ur right, almost the rest of the album is not as good as "metallica". and 100%, the new album will not be as great as the "old" albums. i am german, so sorry, i think i made a few faults while writing this ^^ & sorry, because said fu in the 1. comment ;)

You have heard Death Magnetic right. For me I hate Load/Re-load/S&M, like riffs in St. Anger and saw it as a step in the right direction, but it was lyrically terrible. Death Magnetic is like Re-load/Load with a few more fast parts but better songs and just as bad lyrics. I hope they don't back into the 90's hard rock anymore than they have with DM, if they do I will from now on be a Metallica (OLD stuff) fan. Listen to DM let me know what you think.

@Alhambrattp oh no, u mean u like kill em all, ride the lightning, master of puppets ect? i LOVE these albums, but s&m is okay, only st. anger is baaad. load&reload a little bit boring, but not as bad as st.anger. i hope, that the new album will be like kill em all. dont want to listen to st.anger shit.
