J'adore cette musique...
On a tellement de plaisir à la dancer..
Cette musique a une âme ...
A mon grand regret les occasions de la dancer deviennent rares ..

This music is some of the most beautiful I've ever heard. It's too bad today's music doesn't have the feeling and heart that this has. I love to sit and play my guitar to this while listening, and though my wife gets tired of hearing it, I just can't stop playing it. I wish I could've got to play right there with them.

Does anyone know when this song was written, and when this group recorded it?

I've listened to a lot of great music on this site, but this tune has to be my favorite. This is really soothing and pleasurable. Thanks for posting.

It's interesting to hear the French in the lyrics. The Acadians are comfortably Canadian, but their dialect doesn't resemble that of other French-Canadians at all. Far closer to Delta French, and after all these years.
Thanks for posting.

Merci I love this song. I recognize, Dewey, Rodney and Will in that picture, but who is the triangle player? Is that another brother or someone else?
