    Anyone else think that Kenny Garrett sounded like a Soprano on this one? I literally had no clue it was an alto until I saw this video.

    Miles originially ecorded it on Porgy and Bess, but the version above - superior in my opinion - is on the album 'Miles and Quincy Live at Montreux' which is still available.

    Yep. It's the arrangement that makes Summertime sound like mid-Winter! Plus Miles' trumpet sounds like it could cut paper. Is this on any albums?
