Opening scene of full-length, independent feature film with cool song. Clip starts with Super 8 mm. film footage shot in Northern Idaho using reverse cross-process stock for dated look. The action shifts to contemporary downtown Los Angeles and skid row. Entire movie is about an ex-minor league hockey player (Billy Armstrong) who has had a lot of bad things happen to him and now he's decided to kill a corrupt public official. Along the way he falls for a likeable girl, Julia, a graduate Psychology student at a local university, who has her own issues. It gets pretty complicated, but, things work out well in the end. In other words, Redemption is out there for everyone who's going through rough times. More film clips can be viewed at www.thebillyarmstrongsituation.com. Four different cameras (2 film and 2 digital) were used, also various film stocks, processes and advanced editing effects. Good actors, original characters and story, very unique, cutting-edge look. R-Rated, quirky, edgy drama with offbeat sense of humor. Audience demographic 15-39, male and female, all ethnicities. Looking for finishing funds and domestic theatrical release in 8-10 cities. Filmmaker located in Los Angeles, California. 323-931-6889 or brianmathewkowalchuk@yahoo.com.
