  • How do you get the safety do do this stuff indoors? Nice vid though, I'm a subscriber.

  • @Mustangbronc We do many of our shots like this one outside. We are careful about the safety of of our crews face shields, blast shields, deflectors and remote controls to name a few ways we take care of our selves. To quote a TV show, DON"T TRY THIS AT HOME WE ARE PROFESSIONALS.

    Enjoy

  • 0:21 to 0:28 there's a strange thing moving across the screen from the bottom right going towards the upper left. I wonder what it is, it doesn't look like it was from the bulb...

  • @mikerodeman that was some glass ricocheting off a reflector. the glass went 25 feet away, what a mess. ;)

    Enjoy

  • @ultraslo Please check it out what's is the truht? on 0.21 to 0.28. If you're right why is there no shadow on the background of both bulb, glass and fitting. Regards great vid BTW

  • @wastedsaw The board in the background is about 6 feet away. It was shot in sunlight with a mirror to add more light.

  • @mikerodeman its a poltergeist

  • you know what? I was thinking about how does the burning filament seem like, when getting overvoltage ...could you make some vid of ....for example..some 12 V lightbulb getting 60V ? or 230V lightbulb getting 2100 v..I'd like to see the "explosion" of the filament and how exactly does it explode :P thanx a lot ..Ed

  • too fast, try this again with like 6k fps, results will be way cooler

  • 0:21 - 0:28 UFO :O lol

  • Very cool. So, if you don't mind me asking, did you drill into the screw thread and put a drop of thinner in the bulb or inside of the glass mount? Would like to demonstrate this in a physics class.

  • @mikerodeman 0:21 to 0:28 is one of his camera crew using shadow ball

  • @ultraslo It's not a ghost...

  • @mikerodeman A piece of bulb ricocheting perhaps?

  • That light bulb was like......... BAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMM sssiiiizzzzzzzzleeeeee ssssiiiiizzzzzlllllllleeeeeeeee........ Ddddddddiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeee.......
