Mystory Chine

MDes (Design Practices) capstone project by Yoki Li, supervised by Associate Professor Roger Ball at the School of Design, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Mystory Chine introduces Asian beauty ideas and aims to improve the quality, service and branding of Chinese skin care products. Today, Chinese women tend to choose western cosmetic brands over local Chinese ones. Yoki therefore conducted interviews with female users and researched into Asian skin care products, e.g. Indias natural herbs and Japaneses traditional skin care elements and methods. From the capstone research to the brainstorming, she realized, in order to create a distinguished local brand among so many international skin care brands, one way is to innovate through the use of new technologies to refine the Chinese traditional skin care methods.
