Washington D.C., 1963
My first video edit - another Hamlet trailer - this one indulging a fifteen year dream of seeing Hamlet relocated to 1963 Washington DC. The parallels are pretty obvious - King Hamlet is the assassinated president, Hamlet a wayward son returning to the White House from Berkeley to find his mother has married the VP, a war is brewing with Vietnam/Norway, and his relationship with Ophelia, the daughter of Polonius/Kissinger is being secretly recorded by the CIA.
Sorry for the multiple aspect ratios and dodgy audio. The second attempt will be better.
