First underwater test with the TZ7 using the official Panasonic DMW-MCTZ7 case. Water was a little muddy but fine for a first experience.

  • WHat fish are those? striper?

  • They are mullets.

  • Btw, just wanted to ask you;

    1.Does the camera stay on focus while zooming in and out?

    2.And If i buy this camera, would all the updates that ppl use from firmware be on there already? Or do i have to update firmware etc...?

  • 1. Yes, it stays on focus.

    2. I'd say it comes with the latest firmware. If it comes with 1.2, you wont be able to use any 3rd party betteries but I've heard it can be reversed to 1.1.

    Good luck.

  • panasonic tz10 or canon sx210?

  • Look for some info on the TZ10 as it seems to be worse than the TZ7 (at least that's what I have read so far on some forums).

    Regarding de Canon SX210 I have no information on that model, sorry.

  • I misunderstood the title. Having just come from a series of videos of people firing handguns underwater I thought he was going to shoot the yellow tail with a gun and a camera at the same time.

  • I got the panasonic tz7 yesterday :). REally happy with it. Havent taken my hands off it since i got it. Its not bad at all. Works well in all areas for me tbh. So happy! ^^

  • Thanks, I have looked into it last few days and im not happy with tz10. Picture quality seems to have smudgy edges unlike the tz7. thanks for ur advise. :)

  • The output framerate is at 59.94fps on the NTSC model and at 50fps on the PAL model. There is definitely some kind of rate-doubling inside the camera.
