This IS very rare.

It was made in 1979 in Japan. English dubed in 1989.

You can still find some VHS, but there is no DVD version.

Check "トンデモネズミ大活躍." It's Japanese title.

I never saw it, but I can verify that Nickelodeon ran in the early 90's it as part of their Special Delivery program.

@cb82fan I can back you up on that, too! I mean, I thought I may have seen it twice, but I may be wrong about that. What I am sure of, is that I saw it long ago on Nickelodeon, and like you, that's why I know of it, and I thank you so very much for sharing it! It's great!
