If it were possible I would live in this ancient period, in a culture that actually had some meaning and beauty. Today's common world has become a spiritual and cultural wasteland! The more technology develops and is seen the less spirituality we have. As I see it technology interferes and destroys the beauty of nature. It pollutes our souls.

@Elinitsam Wrong! Political Correctness and a naive Immigration Policy threatens our World. I love the Muslims I've met, but most coming here are not like my friends and subscribe even if they say otherwise (Taqqiya) to Extremism. An educated and philosophical Muslim is the best kind of person you'll meet, but the average immigrant wants to destroy the Wisdom of bothe West and East for a very un-Sufi rendition of Jihad. @Elinitsam I agree, but a major drawback that the ancient world has was that the whole thing was based on slavery. Slave labour is the only reason that people had leisure to create and enjoy music and art like this. Don't forget that!

BTW ancient greek music is very beautiful, I have some pieces of this wonderful music, and love it. Despite it's not ancient-ancient, but it's been played with the same ancient intruments the ancestors of the actual greeks used. I especially love the ethnics found in groups like Daemonia nimphe and Petros Tabouris. Modern Greek Laika music has very different elements and some of the songs of this genre sound more turk oriental that genuine greek. I personally prefer ancient greek over Laika.

@ANCIENTHOPLITIKON Hi there, it was a sick joke man!! I know no country would want a situation that yours is going through such as banrupcy. But i'm not trying to say that Greece is worst than Mexico, no way. Neither one is best or worst. Remember that a country is defined through its people, not its government. Greece is known for its hospitality and the quality of its people, the same as Mexico. Both countries have that thing in common.
