People are stupid. And of course when you have to time and time again explain to people there is a perfectly good explanation for things, you start to sound like your just a big weird skeptic. Same thing with religious folks bringing dozens of accounts of miracles to the attention of rational folks. Yes, every one of them has a non-supernatural explanation. People will call you a know it all, presumptuous, bigot, and say "we just don't have an explanation for everything". Well Yes, actually.

First she alludes that it was photoshopped, next she accepts that it was a Russian missile. I tend to go with the Russian missile explanation, but as far as reporting goes, this was just terrible.

a rocket would not stay in one spot in the sky, it would move laterally across the sky. it also would not make a perfect spiral pattern. it also could not be that big or bright and it wouldn't be that color. i'm very dissappointed in Maddow for being so easily misled.
