Apparently us standing up to Francophones trying to steal more Flemish land equates to us killing the French-language! Francophones make up about 35% of the population, but have more than 60% of the land... Land that used to be settled by Dutch-speakers that were either driven out or completely Frenchified in order to be accepted into Francophone communities (in regions where the Flemish communities were previously driven out because Francophones refused to learn the local language. Yeah.)
