Some people say you cannot have more than one fish in a 2.5 gallon tank. Well, I think I proved that theory wrong!

I definitely agree that you can keep more fish in a small tank than what most people say. I own a 1 gallon and have a school of ten neons in it. They are doing fine so everyone else can piss off.

well. if the tank did not have so much algae, and the water parameters were fine. you could have maybe half the amount of fish. but i dont see why you got such a small tank, a ten gallon is only 10$

@thatpreludeguy You can't stock that many fish in that sized tank. With the amount of fish and their potential size, he should have at least 30 gallons. Look at that tank! It's full to the brim with algae! That's disgusting.
If you really managed to stuff more fish in a tank that size, shame. You probably knocked their lifespans down by a couple years, stunted their growth and left them open to disease. Any experienced aquarist would be able to give you at least 5 reasons why this is cruel.

I like the tank, I've had more in a similar sized tank and the fish loved it. What's the problem everyone has with the tank? If water quality and tempature are okay what's to say there's an issue?
