'It's an AmTrak passenger train... it's ahead of schedule' 'Now this is getting *really* unbelievable'.

I love this episode, in fact it's one of my favourites, but i hate the opening that's been paired up with it in this. The original was great, and the new ones make me think of the awful mistake they made from season 3 and on...

The real John Luther "Casey" Jones did indeed perish in a wreck, of a 4-6-0 #382 aboard the ICRR, but, his actions of pushing his fireman out of the cab and staying aboard holding the break actually saved the lives of the passengers aboard the train he was pulling. The only life lost was his own that night.

@Santaisnotreal12390 Because the locomotive won't move unless there is enough heat in the boiler to turn the water to steam. A fireman on an locomotive has to work really hard to keep the fire the same tempurature. The fireman can't take a break for even a minute. It was hard work back then.
