  • BAWWW BAWWWW BAAAAWWWWWW You butthurt little bitches make me ashamed to be a Star Trek fan. You were determined to hate this film the second you heard the words "reboot" and "Star Trek" and you just nit-pick the shit out of it. The last two TNG films were terrible and Enterprise was a joke. It was stale, it was tired, and it needed a punch of adrenaline. It's not a perfect film, because no film is. I can't think of a more perfect way to give this franchise a new burst of energy.

  • I have been a Trekkie since I can remember. And yes - I say TREKKIE rather than "Trekker." This new Star Trek is exactly what we Trek Fans needed. It's modern, fun and new but makes you feel comfortable as if the cast never changed. Kirk is still brash and intense while Spock perfectly counters with steady verbal perfection. Fellow Trekkies: Get off your high horses, return to earth and appreciate all this film has to offer.

  • I loved her " man so cheesy...but seriously anytime anywhere."

  • @WashingMachine0 i agree with most of your points, but I LIKED ENTERPRISE THANKS!!!

  • @699backstab That's nice.

  • Some people say that I am the James kirk of our world. I am pretty charismatic and I too have a genius IQ. People listen to what I say and I am alpha male. A great leader.

  • Who the hell are you supposed to throw rotten tomatoes at when you're watching a movie?

  • @spacecowboy5000 Well fortunately, a lot of "new people" liked it and it will continue to endure. Sorry you're so bitter against it but as a long time Trek fan, I'm glad to see it enduring.

  • @WashingMachine0 I'm ashamed to be a Trek fan, too. Except for the names, this movie had little to do with Star Trek. If Gene Roddenberry had been alive he would have had his name removed from the film. Sure, it was a fun action/sci-fi film but not Star Trek. "New burst of energy"? Seriously? It was Paramount's attempt to revive a dead franchise - flogging a dead horse, in other words. This movie was made for business purposes. End of story. That's what makes it not so great.

  • @WarBerJr02 Well if that happens it really will be a big letdown. But, the elder series (and movies) will never be forgotten really, and I doubt they will remake the entire star trek universe in future franchises - I think they picked up this part of the timeline for an alternative movie just because it was the one which has been left untouched for the longest time, and would have caught the greatest interest.
