Venus & Grand Fond to Saline Hike

Sunrise photos in Grand Fond turned into a 6 hour hike when I followed a goat path until it was gone; then kept going. I climbed up and down, was stuck with thorns from cactus; crawled through dense brush with spiders, Prayed a lot, and had a great time. I hoped there would be someone on the beach I knew when I arrived in Saline that could give me a ride back to my vehicle. Louie was just coming over the dune as I reached the top. He went for a swim; then gave me a lift. I don't recommend doing this without a local guide.
