A few snapshots and clips from this year - and just appreciate the Trislander because it might be gone in a few years :-(

  • Trislanders will be around for a while. They are like meccano , when a bit runs out of life it gets replaced.

    The best replacement for a Trislander is another Trislander.

    If something new comes along that is as effective to operate and is cheaper to buy than it costs to restore - oops, I mean - overhaul and rebuild a Trislander then their days may be numbered.

    Turboprops cannot cope with the short sectors, quick turn-rounds and salty air at 2000 ft and below.

  • @KNJGSY In theory they could last it's just EASA rules which threaten them. Modern turboprops can, I'm led to believe, take the strain.

  • @TheMarkOfTheBeast , Blue Islands want to get rid of them.
