  • "Not all was bad! " Oh Please. SA has huge problems to day BECAUSE of the past. Violence against whites, of which there is plenty is today in SA is completely inexcusable Yes, I agree but realize Apartheid set the stage for all of it. SA is largely forgotten and ignore by the international community BECAUSE of Apartheid's "legacy"

Very sad I agree but Apartheid was foul Hitler stupidity. Malan was a barbarian of the lowest order.

  • Jeff,

I am afraid apartheid has not been tossed on the ash heap of history but is alive and well in Palestine.

  • @donnydcyclops It's okay you can play Sun City now... cause apartheid is long over, DUMMY!! This song is like 17 years old. Nelson Mandela was still in prison then, but has since been released and has come and gone as the president of South Africa...

  • @universalpedro, right you are... and also the conditions of the American and Canadian Indian reservations ---from which SA apartheid was fashioned-- still exist today!!

  • @grfield1 well, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

  • @garycalgary Band-Aid was before this, and I think USA for Africa was too.

  • @TheTerminator97 "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin

"I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!" - Patrick Henry

"Living in a stable nation with low unemployment with a home and food on the table" is nice, but when your brother is suffering brutal repression for his beliefs or for the colour of his skin, it isn't worth it.

  • @misr91 Zimbabwe doesn't really have anywhere to play, does it?

I agree, however. Africa needs to liberate Zimbabwe all over again. But the process has started since your post.

  • @Greggybread Well, Bob Marley and Peter Tosh aren't singing about it because they're dead, and Jimmy Cliff isn't singing about it because he's retired.

Otherwise, I agree. Africa needs to liberate Zimbabwe all over again. I think the process has started since you posted that, though.

  • @Greggybread "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin

Oh, and by the way, be thankful for the liberals that fought for your freedom of speech. Otherwise, language like yours could have got you arrested. It still can in some countries.

  • @jwmellott Well that's your choice. All we can do is feel sorry for you and move on.
