Dunlop Qualifier 2 Initial Look

Got myself new tires in yesterday, trying the Dunlop Q2's at the track in 1 week. This is just a straight out of the box not even mounted review and small comparison against the Bridgestone BT-016's that I have been running.

what is the recommended cold tire PSI for these tires on street & track? im a 135lbs rider.

@greeneyesudduction street in the summer I would run 32/36 cold front/rear, track I had great results with 33/33 HOT pressures, 30/30 cold is a good starting point, take tire pressures after each session so you can find the best pressure when HOT..

i want this dunlop but in saudia arabia i cant found it have any idea for where can i found this tyre q2n is this in dubai bcos dubai is near from me /?

@TheLoversjaan i have no idea about if it's sold in Dubai or anywhere in the UAE, I would assume so. You can always google it, or check dunlop's site for who is the distributor in that region of the world for dunlop motorcycle tires. If no one sells it locally at all your going to have to order from another country. Somewhere else in the Middle East and or might have to go as far as a online store in Europe

which one is very good for 1000cc bike dunlop or bridgestone?

@TheLoversjaan Both, unless your riding at the track you really won't know the difference until the tires are being pushed close to their limits.

i scrubb my tires down in a parking lot for my track bike. i ride it to the near parking lot at night by my house. and just go in circles left and then right. slowly going a lower and lower. it also helps practicing my leaning lol and maybe take a 2am quick ride on the highway a few exits. all on the track bike. going with the Q2's next. switching from michilin pures!

@Pittimus84 ok thanks :), yeah to be honest im not wanting to take the bike out much in the wet weather, only if i have too... and im still getting used to the bike, just got myself a kawasaki zxr 400, good fun bike :D

@nara94 i don't have much experience with them in the wet tbh. I think the only wet conditions I rode in with these tires were about a week and a half ago after a short rain. Roads were still wet, still a light rain falling. I had no issues with grip in the front from braking (I did brake hard a few times to check how they felt) , or with the rear wanting to spin up from losing traction. I'm sure there are better tires for the rain but so far i had no issues, just gotta not push it.
