Snad nejlepší scéna z filmu Excalibur (rok 1981). Ta hudba to je Carmina Burana!

  • one of the greatest sequence in the movies' history. that ride through the flowering trees always fills my heart. this movie is epic. sry for bad english.

  • short but one of the best monologues ever. Also I remember when this came out -- spent a lot of money seeing it over and over. ALSO correct me if wrong but Excalibur single-handidly brought O Fourtna back into the theaters -- most never measure up to this movies visuals as the the score and cherry blossoms thunder through your mind

  • @DIRECTORLORD I hear that! love that part!

  • The land and the King are one !

  • 240p, as legends have told.

  • Volund's mystery (to cite a continental variant)? Can you cite your source please, I'd appreciate that greatly.

The sword mystery, or at least one, is the sword as the masculine god's erect penis. His most potent spiritual symbol.

The youthful god affirms his sexual maturity with a strength feat to retrieve his father's sexual potency as his own, or has his sexual maturity confirmed by the receipt of his "penis" from his mother-maiden-hag (lake woman). Virility being kingship.

  • Guards, Knights, Squires prepare for battle ... is just doesn't get better that that!

  • The king is healed and the land is renewed.

  • time too kick ass and take names

  • The holy grail healed Arthur after being shot in the knee with arrow.

  • @liberty1911 I think you are right. I was a kid when I saw this movie, and it was the first time I ever heard O Fortuna. Very powerful scene when the flowers came to life.

  • This scene still gives me the chills...even after all these years.
