Great end of summer ride. Jake and Preston @ 7:29. Thanks

There was a Canadian H1N1 Vaccine Protest August 28, 2009 on robson park or something that day.
Any word of what happened to that one? Were there a group of people handing out vaccine flyers there yesterday?

Are you like really tall or are you just holding the camera up high?

Gee, wished I'd heard about it... would have done some video. Butch is always looking for an excuse to shoot video.
I'm not sure why people get all excited about things they don't enough about. The flu is, it seems, going to be quite the problem and the vaccine is not much different than regular vaccine. There are always a few people who have complications but 99.9999999999999999% won't and I strongly suggest you get poked. The alternative might be death.

You can see a little "pedestal" at :44 to :46 and I'm standing (balancing) on top of it. I asked a guy to hold my camera when I got down to do the "crowd" stuff at 1:38.

Also, when I started the video, I looked for a place I could stand on, to get a good look at the crowd. I was pretty upset when I discovered the camera had reset from the high definition setting. I don't know how that happened... I checked my settings at least 3 times. Guess it's a learning experience and I'll try harder next time.

I'm really tall (6'3") and I also hold the camera up as high as I can, sometimes. I used to be a photographer... I'm not good at video yet, but I know a lot about "setting up" a shot. The "crowd" view is always full of information, so I hold the camera really high in crowded situations so it can "see" more of what is happening.
