Bagel Boy

This is another original song of mine called Bagel Boy.

For anyone who might be curious, I am the Bagel Boy. I've been working in a little bagel shop near my school for last six months now. It's my first job, and I like it a lot. As you can see, I was even inspired to write a song about me working there.

Anyway, I hope some of you like it.

It's five o'clock in the morning.
He's wakin' up, and he's not groanin'
He's making coffee, he's setting up the chairs.

It's six o'clock, and the store is open.
He's in the back, and he is workin'
There's no need to tell him what to do...
He's more then glad to be there to help you.

He's the Bagel Boy, he may not jump for joy,

he knows what he's doin'.

It's nine o'clock, and customers are rushin' in,
the Bagel Boy's up front taking orders in.
It's the same old story, bagels with cream cheese,
with the occasional oddities...

He's the Bagel Boy, don't treat him like some toy,
he knows what he's doin'.

It's one o'clock, and the Bagel Boy can go home,
he's so tired but he still hasn't lost the glow.
He lays in bed, but he can't get to sleep,
so he gets up and stays on his feet.

Bagel Boy, I don't know how you do it.
Bagel Boy, you keep on fighting through it.

The store is closed, and he can go home now.
He lays down in bed, but can't bare to stay.
So he gets up and keeps on singin'
