  • @948L0 I wasn't referring to active forces. I read this in the 2008 book of world records some time ago

  • @Thalmoral

According to wikipedia (yeah, I know that I have to take that information with a grain of salt, or a kilo)

    PRC Armed Forces

    Active - 2,285,000

    Reserve - 800,000

    Paramilitary - 1,500,000

    Total - 4,585,000

So I dont know where did you get the info about the 300 million soldiers, perhaps you meant the 318,265,016 chinese citizens that could be available and fit for doing military service but are not in the army, navy, etc, yet?

  • @948L0 Well China has 300,000,000 ready military personal. I'm pretty sure they could destroy us if we kept nuclear weapons out of it.

  • @948L0

    Except maybe Russia and China

    US/UK quality against RUS/CHN quantity

    Back then in WWII was

    US quantity vs GER quality

    US quality vs JPN quantity

  • In todays world, no country alone has a chance of standing up to the military power of the US

Iran, North Korea, whatever, they dont have anything close to the abrams, f22, etc, they would get steamrolled in a matter of weeks (or maybe a couple of months)

Nobody has now the strength of resisting attacks of the US or a coalition of half the worlds armies alone for 5 years, like Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan did back then in the 40s

  • @948L0

2---> against an enemy that had no fucking chance of winning or even being able to defend themselves against the might of the US armed forces, like the US did in the wars of the last 20-25 years, because the enemies that the US fought lately are laughable (Iraq, Afghanistan, Lybia, pffft, please, i´ve seen rats put up more of a fight than them), But Germany, Japan, etc, that is another matter

  • @iiBlack0ut

WWII and the Cold war were tough times, and like in both of them, there wasnt at the start of WWII (1940) and the cold war (1945), clear signs of victory, like there were at the end of WWII (1945) and the cold war (1991)

My point is that victory wasnt certain at the start of these conflicts, and the US started in the losing (or non-winning, if you prefer, I dont want to offend nobody) side, and that the US didnt start kicking ass and taking names --->

  • @iiBlack0ut

And I can bet my ass if in the future, an attack is done on america, but done by a nation that had an ENORMOUS military strength (like Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, Soviet Union or Communist China had back in those days) instead of some shitty 3rd world country with a ragtag army of poor trained guys, and faced with the possibility of US sovereignity being in peril of dissapearing, it would emerge in the US a leader of the level of Roosevelt, Kennedy and Reagan, etc

  • @iiBlack0ut

Do you include Kennedy and Reagan inside the REAL leaders category too?

Roosevelt had Nazy Germany and Imperial Japan as opponents

Kennedy and Reagan had the Soviet Union and Communist China as opponents

And although the Soviet Union and Communist China didnt attack the US, a war could have started at any given moment during the cold war (1945-1990)

  • @superkoo8 That was 70 years ago, and those responsible are long since dead. You need to move on, remember but forgive.
