Why the hell do people care if a bass player is playing with a pick or not? Fuck! That is the dumbest argument I see on most Metallica comments regarding Jason and Cliff. It's up to the bassist and what sound they are looking for.

i have always thought it was james' fault, but who knows... to me is the opposite story, cliff was pure creativity and talent, and the band knew it. he took an important part in the albums, shows, everything. jason was underestimated and suffered the consequences of a sad story. im glad that he left, now he seems to be great and metallica is joining they career as they had return to early years.

@eLLAMUSic5 FLotsam and Jetsam. Debutalbum Doomsday for the deceiver. Great album with excellent musical skills. Jason just played on the first album and left some songs for the second album. He was the main composer. Fuck Lars Ulrich for stealing him and not letting him contribute to the Metallica sound. Same story as Cliff B.

Anything is possibe he could do far worse- you never know in the age of so many reunions especially since flotsam is still together and playing.
