Cathie, from http://www.alkalinewaterplus.com is testing ionized water which is then blended (whirling Oxygen into the water similar to what the Nikken does). Her conclusions are that adding oxygen to the water increases the ORP, which is the opposite to what a water ionizer does. Water ionizers antioxidize the water (make the ORP more negative). So if anyone knows more about the Nikken theory, let her know what you think. It seems to be a totally non-ionizing machine, the Nikken, and she can't quite get why they're claiming to ionize.

  • I have achieved better results by series linking small 9 volt batteries to 50 odd volts and using six inch lengths of stainless welding rod (one positive one negative) in two glass containers of water linked with a wet cloth . if you split each jar again you will get - 400 v & + 1.1 v respectively for a few bucks if you send more than $20 your wasting your money.

This is how to make super oxidized and reduced water.

save money and do it your selves.

unless your into fancy numbers ;)

  • The reason ionizers are so expensive is that Platinum is used to coat the electrodes. A water ionizer also filters the water & makes it wetter.

If you really want to save money, then you can get a Waterman Ionizer Pitcher, which ionizes and filters ordinary tap water and is the size of a water bottle. I have it on sale right now for $57.95 [at Alkaline Water Plus]...check it out. Although it's not as good as a regular water ionizer, it's better and easier than what you're proposing.

  • For Alkaline & Ion water, this machine is to much expensive.

1.- You need a one "Scalar Energy Pendant " from Quantum Science.

    2.- a glass of water.

    3.- one pencil's graphite.

4.- and Radio Shack digital multimeter ( set mV option ) for ORP measure. This measure is for a Qty you need of Ions.

  • "it's better and easier than what you're proposing. "

surly you gest , do you even know how this principal works ? , the platinum coating is all you get , its smoke and mirrors stainless 304 or better will give identical results , but hey if linking a coupler of batteries is too complex then by all means spend the money.

  • Hi Tony, sorry I've been out of town. I have personally tested the Enagic Leveluk SD501 and this is an ordinary water ionizer. I should say it's extraordinary, because it actually is. Most water ionizers are extraordinary. I don't think people should go around ripping people off either. I'm passionate about selling water ionizers because I haven't had a cold or even the sniffles for 16+ years & I want to bring this technology to the world. The Enagic is good, but doesn't self-clean as well as...

  • Tony, very interesting. I spent a lot of time researching as well and I came to the opposite conclusion...that the Enagic is no better than ionizers that sell for $1500. Best wishes in your quest for wellness.

  • Paul I agree 100% with you. What I have a problem with are the machines that don't really produce health benefits and are just concerned with the marketing...

After 4 months of personal research I am saving up for an Enagic SD501. From what I've learned it is the best, the Godfather if you will, lol, the rest are imitations...IMHO

It's a pleasure to meet you...

    Ciao 4 Now, Tony G.

  • I believe the ionizer works as described and is an incredibly good value for the benefit that I get from it. I've been in the alternative health field for 13 years and have never seen a product as effective.

There is an MLM company selling $1000 water ionizers for $4000. Still, there is another MLM company that sells good machines for $1500 which, although not cheap, is a reasonable price based on the cost of materials for the machine. Not all MLM companies are scams.

  • Thanks for subbing. Glad you like the music.

You're right about affordable solutions. Just look at hydrogen peroxide. You can't much more affordable than that.

But other technologies, such as water ionizers, are way more expensive to produce. Remember, these machines contain titanium and platinum, plus a circuit board, computer chips, plumbing, filters, flow regulators, etc.

  • Hi, I know about sick. I know what happens when you can't work or afford to be suckered into MLM/Affiliate/Re-Sell marketing scams, hence my comment on an un-true Mission Statement.

This is trying to create a demand by using marketing formulas...this is what I know, been in the industry longer than you've been alive. I like your music too so I subbed...=]]

I'm not being a hard ass but you have to understand there are a few that are helping others and committed to AFFORDABLE Solutions...
