Hey! i've totally noticed that pattern 25 when changed to 118 bpm and +5 pitch is almost identical to herbie hancocks' Rockit, and I've been checking to see if anyone has made a tutorial to show the best way to replicate it. I'm going to try and figure it out. I'll also keep my ears out for more mainstream songs hidden in the patterns.

what is the best way to load song in? just midi? i bought one at a shop today and want to use it with newer equipment.

I fear the box (djx2b) you can change only a pattern with the Patternlauncher.
I know too little it out because I use mainly the performance recorder by the keyboard (djx2).
