The purpose of Jews marrying in the fold is so we continue on.
By Jewish law, if the mother is not Jewish, the child isn't. And so the husband discontinued his Jewish decendents, unless they convert according w/ Jewish law.
Now with a Jewish wife, even though her kids are Jewish, the husband might want them to practice his religion, in which case they are taken away from their heritage.
In both cases here, we are losing Jews

You people are so ignorant. This woman isn't racist. Judaism is a religion with a cultural side to it. NOT a racial one. I'm Black and I'm Jewish. I practice the religion of Judaism. It has nothing to do with race. Clearly, this girls fianc'e is white and she's still against it. This woman doesn't want INTER-FAITH marriage NOT Interracial!

Of course it is an indication of a lack of connection to their faith and the degradation of faith and the institution of marriage generally. However, every Jewish soul is important and Jews have an obligation to at least reach out to their fellow Jew to help them reconnect to their faith.

Oh, so you mean saying that you wouldn't mind your kids marrying whites or chinese(if you were either one of the two) but not blacks or jews is bigoted? I think everyone has their own reasons for what they believe, and if they don't want their kids to marry jews or blacks, that's their preference. They've a right to believe that.

Is it antimsemitic to say you don't want to marry jews and you also dont want your kids to marry Jews bc they're a different religion than you are and u want to preserve your own faith?

Last post from you on this subject Shefali13--I've given you plenty of air time. Again, if someone wants to marry their own for positive reasons, that is obviously acceptable; to isolate any one group of people as being UNWORTHY of you or your children is not acceptable and is bigoted.
